The headquarters of the Paris International Film Academy (EICAR) is located in Paris. The campus is located on the beautiful Cherbourg seaside. It is a school that integrates all film and television majors. The Paris Film Academy’s diploma is recognized by the French Ministry of Education and the European Higher Education Institutions Accreditation Agency. The college has a wealth of professional tutorials, which gathers professionals in all stages of film production, from "story idea" to "theater show" comprehensive teaching. The college collaborates closely with several departments of independent curriculum design, from management, screenwriting, director, performance, to behind-the-scenes editing, animation effects, photography and recording, to provide students with a space to realize their personal works in their professional fields.
In line with the requirements for professional literacy, the college provides students with theoretical courses and small class practical courses. In order to cultivate the practical foundation, students must submit a personal work every year, and discuss it in depth with a professional jury, filming and public screening. Each year, 250 student short films are filmed with 16 and 35 cm film and electronic cameras. College students must be bilingual. The teaching languages used by the college are French and English.
The school is people-oriented and student-centered. Every year, the photos of each student in the school are compiled into a volume and provided to the most well-known directors, production companies and film and television agents in Europe. The school's emphasis on each student is a guarantee for its full play and self-expression, thereby helping more graduates find a broader development opportunity and a stage for display.
