In April 2016, the EU-China Commission met with the Smurfs and signed a series of strategic cooperation agreements to introduce the "Smurfs" IP project into China. As an important cultural symbol that has existed for more than 60 years, the Smurfs (English: Smurf) brand has established business networks in 72 countries around the world, launched more than 4,000 products, and created more than 10 billion US dollars in industrial value.
