On the afternoon of December 2, 2019, the EU-China Commission and Dongfang Yichu Group formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing.

Based on the concept of "long-term cooperation and win-win", the EU-China Committee and Dongfang Yichu Group integrate the advantages of both parties to build a China-EU standardization technology exchange platform, promote the exchange and integration of the China-EU testing and certification industry, and serve national strategies such as the "Belt and Road" and "Eurasia Interoperability".

In addition, the two parties plan to cooperate as soon as possible to establish the "EU-China Commission International Standards Technology Research Center", which is believed to be more effective in promoting the development of China's standardization industry.
